A very lovely encounter with Jackie, who stopped by my place during her stage on the Loire by bike. For her first solo trip, a nice challenge she chose to take on! We shared a very pleasant evening filled with simple, spontaneous, and warm exchanges. I really appreciated her naturalness and her beautiful determination. Bravo Jackie for this adventure!

For my first hosting experience on NomadSister, I was delighted to welcome Josie. We had a lovely evening chatting; she's a pleasant and friendly female traveler. It's a wonderful encouragement to travel and meet other sisters!

After parking the bike, a 'warm shower', an aperitif, a meal accompanied by good wine, a lovely room with a view of the woods. What more could you ask for? Well, a listening ear, a community sharing perspectives on various topics, and unfiltered exchanges. In short, a very beautiful and warm stop during this solo bike trip.

It's so wonderful to be welcomed like a friend, to have laundry offered right away (important after a few days of biking!), a lovely walk, and the key to the house! Annie is a simple and caring host. Everything was perfect: the room, the meal. And our exchanges were very enriching. What a pleasure this step was! I would gladly return to enjoy this sweetness of Angers...

A very comforting stop after a tough day of cycling. A snack and a hot shower to start. Then the aperitif, a welcome raclette, a bottle of Vouvray, and, the cherry on top, the gifts for my birthday! What a lovely gesture. Completely recharged after 10 hours of restorative sleep, I was ready to set off the next morning for new adventures after a hearty lunch (and after we had gone over the route together on the ground)! A thousand thanks, Nicole.

What a sweetness, what kindness, what attentiveness, and... what trust! A lovely surprise at the stop of my solo cycling trip was this fully equipped studio waiting for me, where nothing was missing, not even the homemade jam! And, the cherry on top, being on the same wavelength despite the age difference, what a joy. We had beautiful exchanges in complete kindness. Long live sisterhood and long live Nomad Sister! A huge, huge thank you!

Oh, what a wonderful weekend spent in Angers to wrap up my first solo bike trip! Thank you for the warm welcome (right from the train station!), the walks, the meals, the city tour, and the castle visit. I felt comfortable and at ease very quickly. I must say, so much dynamism, courage, and resilience amazed me. And what generosity and culture! Thank you, thank you! And… I look forward to seeing you again.

It was really nice to meet Maryline and her daughter Eva. It was a short but very pleasant encounter; they left the next morning after a breakfast during which we got to know each other a bit.

I had such wonderful moments spent with Sandra, for whom it was a big first with Nomadsister! I look forward to seeing her again with pleasure.

A wonderful encounter and a refreshing stay with Florence, who is warm, joyful, generous, and caring. We went on two beautiful walks and managed to see a mini sunrise: it was magnificent! Thank you for everything.

Isabelle is truly adorable and very smiley, dynamic, and super friendly. Everything went wonderfully well. She recommended us some little restaurants and beautiful places that we would have never found on our own. What we particularly loved was the freedom she offers: if we wanted privacy or to go explore and visit, she allowed us a lot of autonomy. And if we wanted to spend time with her, that was just as possible, the exchanges were rich and natural. She is a beautiful person, very reassuring, who accompanies with kindness. We learned so much from her, and on top of that, she is very funny! A wonderful encounter, we wholeheartedly recommend her. 🌺

We are two friends passing through Paris. Hélène welcomed us warmly, and we enjoyed every moment spent with her. We especially thank her for her availability and for allowing us to benefit from a private room, which offered us intimacy. We also had the chance to discover, thanks to her, some lovely little spots that we probably would never have found on our own. Despite the context of the protests happening during our stay, we always felt safe, without any worries on that front. We also really appreciated the moments spent sharing meals, whether cooking for her or tasting her delicious dishes. A beautiful human experience, with a warm welcome that we recommend without hesitation!

I was lucky to spend one night with Elisa! Wow! Everything was just great! This was my first Nomadsister experience. The communication with Elisa was smooth, her directions were clear, and her welcome was warm. I had a wonderful evening reminiscing about past and future travels! I would be delighted to host Elisa in return!

Dominique welcomed me and my daughter with kindness. We arrived a bit late in the evening, but she offered us herbal tea and we were able to chat, which was very pleasant. In the morning, a breakfast was served to us, what generosity. A big thank you for the warm welcome and I look forward to welcoming you to our place one day.

Despite the lack of orange network 5 km from my home, (no phone or internet), we found ourselves on my street at the right time, as if by magic... that’s the magical side of Nomadsister with these invisible connections that make life so easy...! Our meeting continued in a way that was just as fluid and natural, like someone from the family you see again. I really appreciated Jackie because she embodies a complete and whole woman, gentle and strong, perfectly independent. It was her first long solo bike trip, in the low season, and everything went well. Bravo Jackie for your courage, your ability to face fears and transform each one into victories and enriching experiences. You are very inspiring and I would be delighted to welcome you again for more discoveries in Saumurois.

A wonderful meeting with this dynamic duo full of energy. It’s beautiful to see a mother and her daughter sharing these moments of discovery and connection that travel brings. We had lovely conversations about cinema, art, people, Quebec, and Brittany. A wonderful first experience with Nomad Sister. My only regret: I still haven't found the seaweed that Rachel gave me...

What a pleasure to host you, Nataly! You are a true woman traveler. You enchanted this stay we spent together, with lovely evenings enjoying drinks (in moderation) while chatting, dreaming of the world, and tasting good specialties from here and from your home. It's a pity that a nasty cold disrupted your visits to our beautiful city of Angers and the slate site in Trélazé... But it’s just a postponed visit, until next time. Welcome!
