Thank you so much, Patricia, for welcoming me! Everything went very well; Patricia is very friendly and caring since she came to open the door for me when I returned late at night. When I got back, we had the chance to chat for about an hour, and it was really lovely. Special mention for her amazing strawberry cake and for the very comfortable mattress where I fell asleep in a matter of seconds :) Unfortunately, I didn’t run into Patricia the next day, but I was able to spend some time with her adorable cat. Tomoko is such a lovely person. I couldn't have wished for a better host and local guide. Tomoko invited me to her home for the weekend, I felt welcome from the first email onwards. She showed me the island by car and introduced me to her friends. We talked about so many different subjects, and it was nice getting to know more about each other's lives. We even built a herb garden together and she showed me her workplace. For me, these kinds of interactions are the most precious ones. I am very grateful for this opportunity. Arigato ありがとうTomoko!
