My stay with Vic (Virginie) was like “coming home”. She is small in stature but huge in openness and warmth and kindness. I couldn’t have felt more comfortable in her and Jeff’s place, and even though their life is very full and busy, they made time for me for dinner, and Vic even rode the train to come and get me so I would know what to do at the next station. I loved my time there, and it made beautiful Heidelberg an even more special visit. So many thanks for a very memorable visit ♥️

Due to family reasons, Anne Marie had to cancel her stay, but we managed to meet at my place and stroll a bit through the streets of Grenoble before her train. I was delighted to stay with Caroline. She provides a lovely room that feels fresh, which is a real gift at 38 degrees during the day. Caroline is pleasant to be around and has adopted a simple lifestyle after living in Paris for many years. Her sister, who lives on the second floor of their shared house, joined us for a few activities, and she is also very friendly. They took me to the beach and to their large garden. I would recommend it without hesitation.

While biking along the Nantes to Brest Canal with my friend Emma, Kati was one of our hosts. She welcomed us like queens, which felt wonderful after a long day of cycling!
